The World of Charles R. Knight

A Little Knight Gallery

No voyage to the world of Charles R. Knight would be complete without a chance to relive those thrilling days of yesteryear when we held hands with other little children and gazed upwards at spine-tingling portraits of creatures we were sure the artist had drawn from life.

The Knight Gallery is broken into two wings, the modern animals and the prehistoric. Of the latter, major institutions have their own rooms, followed by a room for black and white photographs of early restorations originally published in 19th and early 20th century magazines.
